On a mission
CTA Studios was set up with a simple belief: creative work should benefit more than just the brief.
That’s why 35% of our annual profits are reinvested into our sister organisation, CTA CIC, funding free design and manufacturing workshops for children, young people, and marginalised or vulnerable groups across Tameside and Greater Manchester.
When you work with CTA Studios, you’re not just commissioning a project; you’re helping create access to skills, tools and confidence for people who might not otherwise get the opportunity.

How We Work
CTA Studios was set up by Ryan Love and Tom Speak. Both living in East Manchester, with complementary backgrounds. Tom is rooted in creative, cultural and visual work, Ryan in delivery, structure and real-world problem solving. Between us, we’ve worked across Design, Manufacturing, Events, Branding, Construction, Hospitality, Recruitment and Consultancy.
We understand budgets, deadlines and the realities clients face, and we’re as comfortable on the workshop floor as we are in front of a screen. Our studio is co-located with CTA CIC in Droylsden, forming a shared production and learning hub that keeps community impact at the centre of everything we do.
Looking ahead, over the next three years, CTA Studios will scale production, expand collaborations, and deepen partnerships with socially conscious artists and organisations, while sustaining our commitment to reinvesting 35% of profits into community-led workshops.
If you’re looking for a creative partner who cares about both craft and consequence, you’re in the right place.
